Privacy policy
Tuning Simulator is made by Scott Busby. This policy covers the Tuning Simulator app for iPhone and iPad and this website. The short version: there are no accounts, no ads and no tracking, and your tunes and career stay on your device.
What stays on your device
Your builds, tunes, dyno runs, logs, lesson progress, career progress and settings are saved on your device only. They are not sent to us. Deleting the app deletes them.
Purchases
The Pro unlock is sold through the App Store, and Apple processes the payment. We never see your name, email address or payment details.
The app uses RevenueCat to check purchases and restore them on your other devices. For that, RevenueCat receives a random, anonymous app user ID created on your device, your App Store purchase history for this app, and basic device and app information such as the iOS version, app version and country. It is not linked to your identity and is not used for advertising or tracking. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
Game Center
If you are signed in to Game Center, the app submits your leaderboard scores (peak horsepower and horsepower per litre) to Apple Game Center. Your Game Center name and scores are handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. You can turn Game Center off in the iOS Settings app.
What we do not do
- No accounts or sign-in.
- No advertising and no ad identifiers.
- No analytics or crash reporting SDKs.
- No tracking across other companies' apps or websites.
- No selling or sharing of personal data.
This website
This site is static and sets no cookies. It is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, and Cloudflare may process standard request data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site.
Children
The app does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
If you email us for support, we use your email address and message only to reply to you, and we delete the conversation when it is resolved unless you ask us to keep it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
